Data@breakfast webinar: QMATH tracks the spread of Danish Coronavirus from genetic data
During the lockdown researchers at the Centre for the Mathematics of Quantum Theory (QMATH) at Copenhagen University in Denmark switched gears and investigated the genomic data of Danish Coronavirus cases. In this talk, they will present the project, ranging from the mathematics of phylogenetic trees to late-night detective work. Of course, they will also talk about their main finding: the identification of transmission chains relevant to Denmark. The methods are general and can be applied to other countries.
