Webinar: Crisis Management-KZN Floods 2022
The Durban Research Action Partnership (D’RAP) and MILE invite you to a webinar presenting on the April 2022 floods. Malcolm Canham, Senior Coordinator at eThekwini’s Disaster Management Unit will cover the damage caused by the floods, the contributing factors, response, challenges, plans for future events and the opportunities for collaboration. Prof Catherine Sutherland, School of Built Environment & Development Studies at UKZN, will present from a researcher’s perspective, the impact these floods have had socially. The event will provide a platform for participants to engage in a facilitated discussion on the latest developments in preventing and managing future flood disasters.
