Registration will be done online

Registration has been structured to cater for three (3) distinct cohorts of students, in a staggered return approach.

Group 1:

Returning Research Masters and Doctoral students.

Commencement of remote online registration opens on Monday, 10 January 2022.

Final date for minimum fee payment required for registration and final date for semester 1 registration is Friday, 25 February 2022.

Group 2:

All other returning students including all undergraduates, Honours (Hons), Postgraduate Diploma (PGDip) and Coursework Masters (CWM) students, and new (first entry) honours, postgraduate diploma and coursework masters students offered a study place.

Remote self-help online registration for returning Undergraduates, new and returning Postgraduate Diploma, Honours and Coursework Masters with no negative term decision is from Monday, 10 January to 25 Friday, February 2022, broken down by specific term decision.

Students on good academic standing and those with negative term decisions will receive virtual curriculum advising (click here) during the week of Monday 10 January to Friday, 28 January 2022. They may then proceed to register.

Students with no registration holds (i.e. RISK, document hold, etc), but have outstanding fees, can provisionally capture their module choices online, this will be parked until they receive the necessary financial clearance. Registration will then go through.

Group 3:

First entry undergraduates.

Remote online registration will commence on Monday, 10 January 2022 for first entry undergraduates.

‘Walk-ins’ will not be accommodated, as the University has received in excess of 110 000 on-time applications for only 9 000 first entry intake places. ‘Change of mind’ by confirmed applicants will be dealt with online.

Late Applications:
We will be accepting late applications until 7 February 2022.

LEC® assessments for at-risk students
